Ancient vampires face modern crusaders!

As i wrote on The Lost Boys review, i love Vampiremovies. Vampires is a raw and entertaining movie and i love it. James Woods plays the chief vampireslayer Jack Crow, whos parents were killed by vampires. He is a raw and mean son of a bitch who together with his team makes a living out of hunting down bloodsuckers. With their special weapons, they`re so far managed well, until they meet the root of the curse - the first vampire - Valek. He`s been around for six hundred years and does not intend to quit now. Valek is procuding the Berlitzer cross that can grant him the ability of walking in sunlight. That can`t happen.
Vampires is never boring, and has a lot of good comments. The gorefactor is very high, but you`re not exactly dealing with angels. Vampires is a mix between a horror movie and a spaghetti-western a la Sierra Leone. Together with James Woods, starrs Thomas Ian Griffith(Valek), Daniel Baldwin(Montoya), and Sheryl Lee(Katrina).
Everybody acts well, but Daniel Baldwin seems a little too tired to be a fearless vampireslayer.
The music is also made by John Carpenter and fits well in the movie. The commentary track is also very interresting. If you like vampiremovies, buy this one. From 1-6, i give vampires 5.
