Review 1 - 1/8-2000

I see dead people!!

I got one word to describe this movie! - PERFECT! In my opinion there are few perfect movies. The Godfather is one, The Exorcist is another, and yes there are others but they are few. In these days of Computergraphics and special effects, all of a sudden The Sixth Sense came along. I will rate it as one of the best movies of all time. The expression: They don`t make them like that anymore does not count regarding The Sixth Sense. That is excactly what they did. I `d never thought that a brilliant film like this could ever come out from todays Hollywood. I saw it in the Theater, and it touched me in a way no movie has done in ages. Haley Joel Osment is brilliant and unbelieavably good. Bruce Willis delievers his best performance ever, but he has still miles to go compared to Osment. I don`t want to say anything about the films story. I think almost everybody has seen it, but for those few that still hasn`t, it can`t be reveiled. The storytelling is superb. There are so many beautiful details throughout the film. After i saw it in the theater, I could hardly wait for the DVD- release. Thankfully it`s a good release. Picture and audio is very good, and the exstra`s are great. The only thing I miss is a commentary track from this brilliant director. If i had a hat, I would take it off for young Osment. I have hardly seen any adult actor who is better than he is in this film. The Sixth Sense is an instant classic. Beautiful, haunting, exciting, sad, scary and the list goes on. Nominated for six oscars, and didn`t get even one. Shame on the commite.
A film can`t get better than this. And Titanic got 11 oscars. Its a scandal.

Only one score can justify one of the greatest movies of our time. 6.
