Review 1 - 21/01-00

This movie is about a bunch of people who wants to be Superheroes. They all envy Captain Amazing (Greg Kinnear), because he is a Superhero. Captain Amazing`s nemesis supervillain Casanova Frankenstein is released from prison, and captures Amazing. He wants what every Supervillains want - world-domination. To face Casanova Frankenstein our wannabeeheroes have to employ other superheroes to save Captain Amazing and stop Casanova. Some scenes are funny, but mostly it is too dumb. Even a great cast can`t save this movie. I feel that with this cast and the story, they could easily have made a much better movie. Mystery Men is a good DVD with much exstra`s but the film appeals to a very young audience. I give Mystery Men a 3.ĻA GROWN UP BRADY-BUNCH AS SUPERHERO WANNABEES!!
