Flåklypa
Grand Prix sneak preview!
Plot summary:
100 miles north, a bit east and up, is Flåklypa... home of bicycle repairman Reodor Felgen and his two assistants - Solan Gundersen, morning bird and natural born optimist, and Ludvig who is a true pessimist. Sponsored by oil sheik Ben Redic Fy Fazan, they build the car "Il Tempo Gigante" and the race of the decade is a fact.
Movie: 10/10
What can i say, it's an excellent Norwegian puppet movie for all ages and
it will never be a boring movie :-)
Picture: 9/10
The picture is very good, but sometimes in the backgorund you can
see a glimse of grain, but it is probably from the master tape.
Colours are as they should be and the picture is sharp. The
anamorphic 16:9 ratio is also very goos.
Sound: 10/10
The sound is excellent and containes one of the best mixes i have
heard on a DVD.
It is mixed after the THX and Academy standards and parts of the
movie is mixed the Star Wars SE way! Excellent!
Menus: 8/10
Menus are animated and scored, and it's good, but the scene
selection is very nice and it's a "more advanced"
version of the Ghostbusters SE R1 menus.
Extras - 9/10
There are lots of extras here, and you can learn how they made the
movie. Crew interviews is also on the discs and lots more.
