The Best Warmovie ever!
This movie is absolutely outstanding. Wolfgang Petersen has made an almost sacred movie about a german submarinecrew during the second world war.
You are there with them, deep under the surface surrounded by narrow steelwalls. You feel their fear, smell their swet and hear their enemies.
Das Boot is a clausthrophobic and nervebinding experience from beginning to end. No other movie captures the realism of war as Das Boot. The acting is totally convincing and realistic.
This movie has got perfect sound and picturequality which really place you in the submarine next to the crew. After seeing this film, you don`t feel like going on a u-boat ride.
Das Boot is just a perfect movie. SEE IT.
On the 1-6 scale, a superstrong 6.
