GREAT AND EXCITING THRILLER!

Deep Rising from director Stephen Sommer is a mix between action, adventure and thriller. A luxury cruiseship in the South China sea is the target for a group of criminals. They are going to rob the ship, but when they get there, they don`t find what they expect. Deep Rising has a good pace, balanced with humour and excitement. There are some very interresting characters, who really makes this film work. Famke Jannsen and Treat Williams is great, and so is Kevin J. O`Connor. The South China sea hides many secrets in its deep, and is the object for many myths and stories. This movie capture you from beginning to end. Deep Rising has only Dolby Pro Logic sound, but the surround is outstanding anyway. This is a good soundmovie. Deep Rising is highly recommended, though on this edition there is a lack of extra features. You`ll find the trailer, and a two minutes long documantary, and thats all. Even no cast and crew biographies. Anyway, the movie is a 5.
